Silo Ink Printers Recommendations Guide
As the buying habits of the American people change, it is becoming increasingly important to find the best deal for the products that you need and want. Silo Ink offers a fantasic alternative to a product you need: Ink cartridges. Silo Ink can save you up to 80% on ink costs and it gets the job done, just like the expensive stuff. Looking for a printer that works well with Silo Ink’s products? This guide is for you.
It is broken down into 3 sections: Photo Printers; All-Around / Business Printers; Ultra Economical Printers.
First I should note that we do not have any affiliation with any of these printer companies. We have designed our own products so that they are fully compatible with these printers, with substantial differentiations: refillability to minimize plastic waste; low prices for affordability; and quality ink for those who don’t want to compromise.
Our ink is specially formulated and is different than what you would find elsewhere. To see the quality ink tests that we have administered, please click here. Without further ado, I give you… The Silo Ink Printer Suggestions Guide.
Photo Printers:
Photo printers by our definition are made with the intention of printing in ultra high quality in sizes larger than the standard 8.5″ x 11.” If large format photo printers are a bit too much for you, but would still like to see some high quality prints, check out the all-around printers.
Epson Photo 1400
Silo Ink System for the Epson Photo 1400
Silo Ink Refillable Cartridges for the Epson Photo 1400
The Epson Photo 1400 will print gorgeous images up to 13″ x 19″. This printer is the most economical 13″ x 19″ out on the market, and the quality does not disappoint. The printer costs $229 and the Silo Ink System for this printer costs $152. The Silo Ink System comes with 60 cartridges worth of ink at your finger tips, so print away, without the frustration of flushing money down the toilet.
Canon Pro 9000

Silo Ink System compatible with the Canon Pro 9000 Mark II
Silo Ink Refillable Cartridges for the Canon Pro 9000 Mark II
The Canon Pro 9000 Mark II is perhaps the best 13″ x 19″ printer on the market. It utilizes 8 color cartridges to bring you a true to life color palette that makes your photos come to life. Can you imagine buying cartridges for this printer?! The Silo Ink System that is compatible comes with 80 cartridges worth of ink, so print away, without having to worry about running out of ink.
Epson R1800

Silo Ink System compatible with Epson R1800
This printer is on the more expensive side, but when you need the functionality of printing 13″ x 44″ this is the printer that will get the job done leaving you with a smile. That smile usually turns into a frown when you calculate the cost of cartridges, but with the Silo Ink System, your costs are cut dramatically.
These all-around printers are primier printers that can do it all. These have large paper capacities and print in brilliant 8.5″ x 11″ with speed and quality. These printers are a good fit for you whether you are a photo enthusiast or an entrepreneur looking to maximize your printer’s functionalities.
Epson Artisan 810
If you are looking for something more economical, the sleek Epson Artisan 810 is a great printer, and might be exactly what you are looking for. it prints, scans, and copies. The quality of prints is greater here, and that’s partly because this is touted as a photo printer.

Canon MX870

Silo Refillable Cartridges compatible with Canon MX870
This is a new printer by Canon and it prints great photos, scans, and copies as well. The design of this printer is very sleek, and currently we do not recommend a Silo Ink System for this printer as there is no room for the tubing to travel without decreasing the quality of prints. We have refillable cartridges that will save you the same kind of dough, with a little extra effort in that you must refill the cartridge yourself.
Business Printers
These printers typically have a fast ppm (page per minute) output and have multiple functions such as scan, copy, and fax.
Brother MFC5890CN

Silo Ink Refillable Cartridges compatible with Brother MFC5890CN
This brother ink jet printer does it all: Scans, copies, prints, and faxes with a breeze. Along with Silo Ink’s extra large cartridges, this provides the business user a install and will be up and running within 5 minutes.
Silo Ink System compatible with Brother DPC-165C
This printer costs under $100 and not only does it print, it also scans and copies. With a relatively fast output of 20ppm, this is a great single user printer for the home or the office. Don’t expect top-notch quality photos but then again, you wouldn’t really use a $90 printer to print your priceless memories.
Epson Workforce 30

Silo Ink System compatible with Epson Workforce 30
This printer also costs under $100 and has decent resolution for pictures. This is perfect for the college student or small business owner looking for a functional machine without all the bells and whistles.
